Northallerton CC and its members met with outstanding success in this year's Annual Competitions run by the NYSD. Not only did the club come away with a trophy, but individual clyb members were also met with success. Northallerton won the trophy for the best club entry of prints and our members came away with the trophies for Best Colour Print and Best Slide.
In the Prints Section Northallerton were clear winners with 173 points, eleven clear of second placed Hartlepool P&DG. Stokesley PS were third with 162. Patricia Kearton LRPS won the Best Colour Print with "Out in Front". Also successful on the night was John Webster ARPS MPAGB who was awarded the trophy for the Best Slide with "Great Spotted Woodpecker".

In the PDI Section the club was not quite so successful with only 150 marks against the winners, Hartlepool P&DG with 167. That put us in joint third place, with Stokesley pipping us by one point for second. In the final analysis Hartlepool P&DG won the overall club trophy with 329 points against our second place score of 323 followed by Stokeley in third with 317.

In the Silver Salver, for individual Colour Prints, Bob Crick, came a very creditable Second with his print "Great Egret". Highly Commended Awards also went to Steve Byard, David Roffey and John Webster
