Monday evening, 23rd January 2012, saw us entertain members from Wensleydale CC for our annual Inter-Club Competition with them. Our Judge for is competition of friendly rivalry was Keith Smith LRPS from Stokesley PS.
The evening was divided into two parts, Prints and DPI, with each club submitting 10 images each into each section. Whilst Northallerton ensured that in each section no member had more than one entry, Wensleydale allowed up to 3 entries person person in each section.
However, when the scores were added up after the prints round, Northallerton found themselves just in front with 261 points as against Wensleydale's 259. The best entry from Northallerton, scoring a maximum 30 points, was "Black and White and Orange" by one of our Club Class members, Steve Duncan.

Keith then moved on to comment and mark the Digital Projected Images and, after a round that seemed to see-saw about with the scores, Northallerton once came out winners by the same margin of 2 points, with 262 against Wensleydale's 260. This time, our for our best entry, Keith awarded maximum marks to "Snowy Egret Take Off" to John Webster ARPS MPAGB.

At the end of the evening this meant that Northallerton hads come out overall winners with 523 points as against Wensleydale's 519, a very narrow margin. Our Chairman, Tom Violet thanked Keith Smith for a very enjoyable evening in which he had delivered a constructive and helpful critique.
